LKS has been commissioned to upgrade the facilities of the British foundry UCB in Zaragoza
LKS Buildingenia has developed the design and turnkey construction (EPC) for the renewal of fusion equipment and modernization of production facilities that the British foundry UCB has in Villanueva de Gallego, Zaragoza, Spain.

The project budget is €4 million and the scope includes the following: complete demolition of the current fusion facility; development of civil works required for the implementation of new melting furnaces; supply and installation of two new furnaces with capacity of 8 tons each, a system to charge additives to furnaces; installation for casting ladles heating, the automatic supply of liquid metal to the 3 casting lines tops and a semiautomatic deslagging system.
UCB produces round and square cast iron bars in continuous casting, used for many hydraulic systems applications.
