ITP Aero and Ideko partner to drive aerospace R&D

ITP Aero, a global leader in aerospace propulsion, and Ideko, a technology center specializing in advanced manufacturing, have signed a five-year agreement to accelerate research, knowledge transfer, and training in the aerospace sector.

This strategic collaboration aims to generate applied knowledge and develop cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to create practical solutions that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of ITP Aero’s products and services. These efforts will contribute to the ongoing evolution of the aerospace industry.

The agreement was formalized at the AIMS (Artificial Intelligence Manufacturing for Sustainability) facility, a shared innovation hub located within the Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Center (CFAA). The venue underscores both organizations’ commitment to advancing R&D and sustainability in aerospace.

Building on 15+ years of collaboration

The partnership builds on more than 15 years of successful collaboration between ITP Aero and Ideko in areas such as machining processes, machine dynamics, robotics, and digitalization.

In addition to driving technological advancements, the agreement includes a joint training program aimed at fostering talent development. This initiative will equip professionals with the skills needed to contribute to both ITP Aero and Ideko, further strengthening their innovation ecosystems.
