Danobat revolutionizes manufacturing with a new precision robot

Danobat has announced its entry into the industrial robotics sector with the launch of the DMTR range, a development that redefines industry standards. These innovative precision robots set a new benchmark in accuracy and efficiency, combining the flexibility of a robot with the stability and precision of a machine tool.
The Most Precise Robot on the Market
The DMTR range achieves three times the pose accuracy compared to other solutions, and obtains exceptional levels of pose repeatability in critical operations such as drilling, riveting and tapping. Additionally, its ability to follow paths with three times greater path accuracy makes it the ideal choice for complex machining and high-precision additive manufacturing. A key differentiator is the programming, which employes numerical control (CNC), simplifying integration for companies already familiar with this technology.
According to Xabier Alzaga, CEO of Danobat, "The DMTR range combines the accuracy and stability of a machine tool with the agility and flexibility of a six-axis robot, opening new production possibilities for key sectors like aerospace, automotive and energy. This achievement merges Danobat’s deep expertise in high-precision technology with the know-how of our specialized team in precision robotics based in Switzerland”.
Robust Design for Superior Performance
Danobat has also developed specific systems for robot dynamics and control, delivering technological capabilities that go beyond the current state of the art — such as 10 times less vibrations and 20% shorter cycle times for machining operation. This approach not only enhances productivity but also ensures superior quality in critical applications.
From composite or even steel deposition operations to riveting, assembly or 3D printing, the DMTR robots excel in flexibility and adaptability for a wide range of industrial applications.
The models go from a compact version with a payload capacity of up to 70 kg and a reach of 2.2 meters to the most robust model capable of handling loads of up to 520 kg with a reach of 3.6 meters. This versatility allows Danobat to meet the most demanding market requirements, ensuring precision and performance in every application.
A Solution for The Industry of the Future
With the DMTR range, Danobat provides manufacturers with a solution that not only optimizes existing processes but also opens the door to new possibilities in advanced manufacturing, consolidating its leadership in technological innovation.
The DMTR will be unveiled for the first time at the international JEC World fair, held from March 4 to 6, 2025, in Paris.
