Fagor Electrónica has taken a further step in its business venture by opening a new plant in the Mexican city of Querétaro, thereby commencing production in the Aztec country. Fagor Electronics Mexico, as well as the white goods market, will tackle the American motor vehicle market, the largest in the world and in the midst of technological change due to the development of electric mobility.
A leader in electronics manufacturing
The factory, with an area of 2,000 square metres, and in which more than two million euros have been invested, starts with a production line which will produce a number of components and parts for both sectors, such as electronic cards for controlling and managing a variety of functions in household appliances and cars.
The new plant is equipped with advanced management machinery and production systems, standardised by Fagor Electrónica in all its plants. To achieve this, a significant investment has been made in the fitting-out of the production area, with very demanding requirements in the manufacturing cleaning protocols, in addition to the investment made in the production equipment.
International status
With this launch, Fagor Electrónica takes another step forward in its strategy to become a technological partner that supports its customers by offering them flexible and economically efficient solutions. It also emphasises its international status, with production plants in Arrasate, Bangkok (Thailand) and Mexico; and a commercial presence in Germany, the USA, Singapore, Hong Kong and China (Shenzen and Shanghai).
About Fagor Electrónica: With more than 50 years of experience, Fagor Electrónica is a cooperative with its parent company based in Arrasate (Gipuzkoa), and is dedicated to the development and manufacture of electronic components for various sectors.
