Oskar Goitia and Nerea Aranguren, president of MONDRAGON International and the newly appointed vice-president of MONDRAGON respectively, have received Sánchez in the Anaitasuna village. They accompanied him on the visit to the Fagor Arrasate plant.

Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, has just completed his official journey to China. With many economic issues on the agenda, he visited MONDRAGON Kunshan Business Park on the last day.

MONDRAGON has received Sánchez from the hand of Oskar Goitia and Nerea Aranguren. The Mayor of Shuzou and representatives of the business sector, as well as the corporate representatives of MONDRAGON in China, also attended the meeting.

The plaque placed at Anaitasuna building, where the word 'baserri' (farm) is written in Basque.

In an event held in the Anaitasuna village, Goitia highlighted the collaborative spirit of MONDRAGON: “MONDRAGON opened this business park 20 years ago in the Kunshan area, together with local institutions. Since then, it is a symbol of cooperation and diversity, and a pole of attracting investment for strategic industrial sectors such as automotive, high-tech machinery or advanced manufacturing.”

Visit to Fagor Arrasate, with Pedro Sánchez and the Mayor of Shuzou.

Subsequently, Sánchez has visited the Fagor Arrasate plant. He has been accompanied by his CEO, Alberto Sarasqueta, who has shown him the stamping systems and processing lines of steel and aluminium produced there. Sarasqueta has highlighted the work done in the last 16 years, “we are a reference in China and we will continue to bet strongly in this country, within our strategy of international expansion”.
